Turkish Minister of Transport Uraloğlu has announced that work related to the so-called "Zangezur corridor" has begun, which will turn Turkey into a logistics center. According to him, the projects of the corridor and the Alican crossing point on the Armenian-Turkish border will redefine Turkey's role in the regional trade network.
Uraloğlu informed that preparatory work has begun on the Alican border crossing point on the border with Armenia. They have completed their planning, including an assessment of the current condition of the bridge and its repair. "When the peace process is completed, the Alican crossing point will also be opened," the Turkish minister said.
